Mariner Park & Ride Construction Will Improve Safety
A new traffic signal, crosswalk and more shelters highlight the project
Work on a construction project to improve pedestrian and vehicle safety at Mariner Park & Ride in south Everett began the week of Sept. 28 is progressing quickly. Among the highlights will be the installation of a traffic signal and crosswalk on 4th Avenue near the north entrance of the park & ride as well as improvements to the existing bus platform. The platform will be reconfigured with new concrete and will add more waiting space for riders as well as new sidewalk ramps compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Additional overhead shelters will also be added.

Construction Impacts Mariner Bus Service
The construction project is a joint effort between Snohomish County and Community Transit. Construction hours are 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday. The construction will cause disruptions in and around the park & ride, including reroutes and the temporary closure of some bus stops.
See our latest Rider Alert on Mariner construction impacts for details.
Within the park & ride, bike lockers will be relocated and some overhead shelters will be removed during construction. Three overhead shelters will remain available to those waiting for buses. Disabled parking spaces in the park & ride will be relocated but will remain near the temporary bus bay in Mariner.
