Serving Snohomish County for more than 30 years, the Citizens' Advisory Committee (CAC) is a citizen's advocacy body which "...provide(s) a forum to encourage public participation and dialogue between Community Transit and riders, both current and potential."
The CAC meets several times a year to share information and receive updates from Community Transit staff. Members serve two-year terms and are selected to achieve demographically and geographically balanced representation from as many segments of the community as possible. Providing input on such issues as shelters and fare structure, communicating transportation support to our legislature and talking to fellow passengers regarding suggestions for the agency are routine duties for the committee.
Current members of the Citizens' Advisory Committee include: John Carlin, Edmonds; Marc Greenhouse, Mukilteo; David Hursh, Darrington; Suzanne Manville, Eastmont Park & Ride; John Rynd, Mill Creek; Joseph Heineck, Lake Stevens; Cheryl Garland, Stanwood; Tom Peloquin, Marysville and George Basioli, Edmonds.
